I recently finished up a 3 part podcast for 530 Techno, consisting of techno influences, current sounds and non-dancefloor electronic music. It really challenged me in a number of ways, and gave me an opportunity to dig deep in my music collection.

So after getting some good feedback from some friends, I’ve decided to drop the “dj Javaight” moniker and just go by my real name. It’s actually a bit funny, because I initially chose “Javaight”, which is supposed to be pronounced like “Straight”, because people were having a difficult time correctly pronouncing Javate, which is pronounced “ha-VA-tay”. Unfortunately, people kept mispronouncing “Javaight” also. Sometimes you can never win.
